 The City of Niigata, the capital of Niigata Prefecture, faces the Japan Sea, with a population of 810,000, Niigata is the largest City along the Japan Sea coast. The city is located at 300 kilometers (186 miles) northwest of Tokyo–a two-hour train ride on the Joetsu shinkansen (bullet train).

 Niigata convention center “Toki Messe” located at the mouth of Shinano-river, in the heart of Niigata city, Toki Messe opened in 2003. The facility integrates exihibition hall capacitates more 10,000 people, 13 large sized and medium sized conference rooms, and the hotel, which is the landmark in Niigata-city. A Conference, a party, and accommodation, everything comes into only one space.

 Niigata Prefecture and Niigata City Both Offer Top-Class Convention Subsidy Programs in Japan, Maximum combined subsidy is 12 million yen.
