Web Site

Hiroshima is the largest city in the Chugoku region locating in the western part of the Japanese mainland. The major industry is manufacturing, and the city is home to world-class companies such as Mazda Motor Corporation. While being a bustling commercial and industrial city, it also has flourishing agriculture and fisheries industries thanks to its natural surroundings including the Seto Inland Sea and the Chūgoku mountains.

Moreover, Hiroshima is home to 21 universities including Hiroshima University and research institutions such as the National Research Institute of Fisheries and Environment of Inland Sea, which produce academics and professionals who are driving innovation in a variety of fields.

There are direct flights from Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore (from 30th Oct. 2017) and Taipei to Hiroshima Airport. In addition, 4 international airports, Narita or Haneda (Tokyo), Kansai (Osaka) and Fukuoka serve as gateways to Hiroshima. From each of these international airports, you can either transfer to domestic flights to Hiroshima Airport or take the bullet train (Shinkansen) to Hiroshima Railway Station. 17 flights from Haneda and 3 flights from Narita are available every day.
