Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau’s sales & promotion department, ‘Meeting Place Fukuoka,’ is staffed with personnel who are experts in meeting organization. We provide consultation for travel, transportation, and planning/management issues. We Provide support in all aspects of holding conferences in Fukuoka, such as compiling estimates, booking venues, accepting inspection tours, project proposals for attracting conferences, and introducing related bodies. We also have various support for incentive tours. Please feel free to consult us. Holding events in Fukuoka will offer you better-than-expected satisfaction!

Financial Support

<International Convention Subvention System>
A committee determines whether the grant is offered and its amount.
Applicable for
– An international convention to be held in Fukuoka City, with 50 or more foreign participants per day (excluding foreign residents of Japan).
– The Event has three or more participating countries, including Japan, and is held for two or more days.
– The subsidy can help the organizers decide to hold the convention in Fukuoka when the venue is still under consideration.
Subsidy amount
Up to 30 % of the total cost, with a standard amount of 300 thousand yen to 10 million yen, depending on the number of foreign participants.
