Meeting Place Fukuoka

The Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau’s sales & promotion department ‘Meeting Place Fukuoka’ is staffed with personnel with expertise in meeting organization. We provide consultation for any issues including travel, transportation, and planning/management. We Provide support in all aspects of holding conferences inFukuoka, such as compiling estimates, booking venues, accepting inspection tours, projectproposals for attracting conferences, and introducing related bodies. Direct international flights from the major Asian cities and Guam, Honolulu and Helsinki. In addition, good connections to international hub airports and frequent domestic flight from Tokyo and Osaka.　Fukuoka has best access from the airport to the city center. It takes only 10 minutes by subway.

Financial Support

<International Convention Subvention System> *Whether the grant is offered or not and the amount will be determined by the committee.

Applicable for
-International convention to be held in Fukuoka City, with 50 or more foreign participants per day (excluding foreign residents in Japan).
-Number of participating countries including Japan is 3 or more countries and is held for 2 or more days.
-For a convention where the location of the venue is still under consideration, if a grant is offered, it will promote holding the convention in Fukuoka City.

Grant amount
That it is within 30 % of the total cost, with a standard amount of 300 thousand yen to 10 million yen according to the number of foreign participants.
